This event has been running for centuries. In the early days, it was a get together organised by Kerr Duffy, then at Cuts Magazine as a way of saying thank you to contributors and advertisers. This quickly grew to chums as well but when Cuts Magazine hit the fan, some of us decided to keep the tradition going and this is what the event now is. Attended by all walks of broadcast life: engineers, salesmen, PR folks, journos, publishers, editors, cameramen etc., etc.
